When staying the same starts to cost more
There's a price for staying the same. I paid it for years before I understood what it was.
One root, many branches
Here's something I see in almost everyone I work with, and saw in myself first. The same kind of trouble keeps turning up in different parts of your life, and you deal with each one as it comes, as if they had nothing to do with each other.
Why I made Calm the Noise
The deep work is only part of what helps. The rest is small. Breathing. Settling. Sitting with something instead of moving away from it.
Before you feel ready
Something I've noticed, in myself first and then in a lot of the people I work with: we want our lives to look different, but we wait to feel different before we take that first step.
